Like any home, every real estate business needs to be built on a solid foundation. Unfortunately, pre-licensing classes don’t teach you business basics and neither do most brokerages.
It’s my mission with The Fundamentals to set you up for success with that foundation going forward.
What You Can Expect

We will work together to determine the long-term vision of your real estate business and the why behind it.
Every business plan will be rooted in 4 core areas:
Values & Culture — What are your core beliefs? What are the standards that will be set forth for your people and your company from day one/going forward?
Unique Selling Proposition (USP) — What sets you apart from other agents, teams, and brokerages in your market? Why would clients choose you over anyone else? Where might you be weaker than your competition and how does that actually play to your strength?
Longevity Positioning — How can we structure the company to support your dream life in the long run? What is the organizational structure that will ultimately set you up to not be in the business daily? How can you still make money without sacrificing time with loved ones or vacations?
The Big Why — This is your motivator and the entire reason for being in real estate, running your own business. It may not necessarily be explicitly stated in the business plan, but it will be the driving force behind every decision you make to scale going forward.

Using any trackers you may have and through accessing your MLS data, I will analyze up to the most recent 3 years of your sales history (and that of each team member during that period as well).
What you’ll learn from this is your:
Average sales price
Average percentage of sales above list price (for sellers)
Average percentage of sales below list price (for buyers)
Average days on market
Year-over-year growth rate

You can’t know how well you or your team are performing without tracking it intentionally. And in that same vein, you can’t expect what you don’t inspect.
I’ll create 3 KPI tracker templates to create performance accountability and transparency:
Agent Lead Generation Efforts & Conversion
Sales Tracker (to include active, pending, closed, and terminated deals)
New Leads (including sources and efficacy tracking)
